here in the Coast Ranges. Spend the day on the beach at Moolack Beach since you're here at Newport Marina, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Alsea River. This campground is always a diversion. What would a spot like Newport Marina be without interesting nearby
| highlights like Jumpoff Joe, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Drift Creek.
And if that's not sufficient there's a load more exciting things to do in the Coast Ranges. South Jetty is a beautiful location in the neighborhood of Newport Marina, and near Newport Marina you hit upon a golf course called Agate Beach Golf Course.

Creek Reservoir Number 2 is one of those nearby; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Horse Creek Trail. A lot of folks stay here for the purpose of being near South Beach State Park. Newport Marina is a fine camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Coast
Ranges.
This is such a striking campground. Take a side tour to Hurbert Creek; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Siletz River. Going to Yaquina Bay State Park near Newport Marina is a fine thing to do, and while you're here you will
meet lots of folks from nearby South Beach. All through the warm days of summer here at Newport Marina, high temperatures generally get into the 60's while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 50's with temperatures at Newport Marina dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights.
