| | A lot of people opt for this campground in order to be next to Mount Hood National Forest. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a good local ski area, and there's perfect hiking along the Big Bend Trail. During the warm days of summer at Mount Hood Village highs are typically in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Mount Hood Village. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a |
fine time. There are delightful places to explore along the Bonanza Trail, and you're sure to encounter some wonderful people from Brightwood here. The great selection of local attractions, and so much to do are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly. This is a nice campground.
| Drift down the rapids of Little Sandy River in a kayak, and don't leave Mount Hood Village without first going for a hike along the Coffman Camp Trail. Famous Oregon welcome and all the wonderful passtime activities have people coming here. Going for a hike on the Plaza Trail is always a good adventure; Mount Hood National Forest is a fine place to go. a great idea to go camping too. Mount Hood Village gets much water; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Don't leave Mount Hood Village without visiting John B. Yeon State
Park, and paddling on Sandy River is so much fun. There's more to do close to Mount Hood Village other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so most likely you want to stick around. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever
want to go back home again. Getting to Katy Creek from Mount Hood Village is simple, and get soaked paddling on Zigzag River. This campground is so nice. Near Mount Hood Village you hit upon the Arrah Wanna Trail which is a great hiking trail. Mount Hood Village is located in a vicinity with loads of entertaining stuff to do, and it is a very great campground.
