On Lookout Creek you come upon the nearby 2.5 miles above Blue River to Blue River portion. This is a type III-IV, 2.5-mile-from-start-to-finish part of whitewater. The 2.5 miles above Blue       River to Blue River portion of Lookout Creek is recommended for whitewater paddlers of medium practice. Don't go paddling ahead of first checking restrictions; it's dangerous stuff. There's a great 4.6-mile-from-beginning-to-end wilderness   hiking trail having a great 3,825-foot variation in height in the neighborhood; this beautiful wilderness hiking trail is the Frissell Point Trail. Frissell Point Trail necessitates one day to backcountry walk; it's a demanding wilderness hiking trail.
