Lockaby - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   We must all go camping every so often; Lockaby in Oregon is a brilliant spot to go. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. You don’t have to go far from Lockaby to distinguish the water at Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam. Not far from Lockaby, you'll discover Roslyn Lake which is a picturesque lake, and Lockaby is right by the Eagle Creek Cutoff. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Bull Run, and the cheerful people of Sandy like to hang out close by. And if that's not enough     there's a load more exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Fanton Plaza Trail, and get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Sandy River. All the happy people and lots of cool stuff to do makes the tour here worthwhile. Many people camp here to explore close by George W. Joseph State Park. A visit to Oregon is not complete without some camping. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. Why not check out close by Bowman Creek since you're here at Lockaby, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Old Baldy Trail. Lockaby is a reasonably wet place commonly with a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's   at Lockaby. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Lockaby nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. This is beyond doubt a tremendous campground. Don't leave Lockaby without popping by George W. Joseph State Park, and going for a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do near Lockaby; it is a very brilliant campground. This location rules, just look at all the fun things to do near Lockaby. While you're here at Lockaby you can take a hike along the Cold Spring Trail; a glorious spot like Crown Point State Park is too good to leave out. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. Lockaby is a campground liked by people in Sandy. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always scenic.
