When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Little Crater Lake. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Crater Lake; Dry Ridge Trail is a wonderful local trail; there's good hiking along the Old Baldy Trail. The workforce of this delightful campground and all the delightful passtime activities have folks coming from far and wide. You're sure to encounter some smiling folks from Sandy here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bull Run.
