Lazy Bend - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   Lazy Bend is positioned in the Central Cascade Range. There's more to do right next door to Lazy Bend other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. At Lazy Bend through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Lazy Bend during the winter typically fall into the 30's. This is no site for people who don’t     like to enjoy themselves. At Lazy Bend you always meet someone from Sandy; almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Roslyn Lake is just a very short distance away. All the fine local attractions in the vicinity and such a vast number of things to do are perfect reasons to come. Lazy Bend is a very popular campground with the people of Sandy. The high level of rainfall makes Lazy Bend a pretty wet site; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. The pleasant workforce and the competently looked after facilities beat anything. The Eagle Creek Cutoff offers hiking at its best, and a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Bull Run. Oregon has lots of outdoors activities. Sandy River is a perfect whitewater spot near Lazy   Bend, and do stop at Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam since you're here. So many cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Bowman Creek is near Lazy Bend and is always a pleasure to explore; places like George W. Joseph State Park are good to go to. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Lazy Bend is right by the Fanton Plaza Trail, and going for a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This is a delightful campground. While you're here at Lazy Bend you can take a hike along the Cold Spring Trail. There is so much fun stuff near Lazy Bend, and when you spend some time here you will feel like another person. A campground like this is too delightful to miss. Hiking along the Old Baldy Trail is good fun, and Crown Point State Park is a glorious site. A number of people stay at Lazy Bend in order to be in close proximity to George W. Joseph State Park.
