The welcoming atmosphere and all the exciting things to do have scores of people coming here. Such a pleasant pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back repeatedly. This campground is so great. A splendid place like Crown Point State Park near Lazy Bend is too nice to leave out, and hiking along the Eagle Creek Cutoff is glorious fun. You have to get out, and Lazy Bend in Oregon     is a delightful place to go. This camp ground is one of the delightful locations to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. This is such a great campground. Going for a hike along the Fanton Plaza Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. If you come at the right time of year, Bull Run offers some splendid whitewater, and nearby you hit upon the Cold Spring Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too wonderful to be true. Don't leave Lazy Bend without visiting George W. Joseph State Park, and the Dry Ridge Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. At Lazy Bend throughout the days of summer   highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lazy Bend temperatures descend to the 30's. Loads of people opt for this campground for the purpose of being in the vicinity of George W. Joseph State Park. People from Sandy love to come to Lazy Bend, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Old Baldy Trail. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Some of the water nearby flows, like Bowman Creek; Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam is not far at all from Lazy Bend. Lazy Bend is a campground esteemed by the people from Sandy. All year is a good time in the Central Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. Lakes are tremendous; Firwood Veneer Corporation Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Lazy Bend, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy River. A large amount of precipitation falls at Lazy Bend; most of the rain falls all through December while July is usually the driest month. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Oregon.
