Lake Harriet is a very popular campground among campers from Sandy. Lake Harriet is a relatively wet place mostly with a great deal of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. Don't leave Lake Harriet without first going for a hike along the Old Baldy Trail, and George W. Joseph State Park is a tremendous place.
