on the Broken Top Trail is always a good adventure. Through the summer months highs here at La Pine State Park get into the 70's with night lows in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at La Pine State
Park. Loads of people camp here for the purpose of being right next door to LaPine State Recreation Area. Swamps don’t sound that good but The Dead Slough near La Pine State Park is quite good, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Mud Lake Trail. The friendly reception
