Kingfisher - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon Custom Search   There is so much exciting stuff to do in the neighborhood of Kingfisher; many folks enjoy coming here to escape. The high level of precipitation makes Kingfisher a pretty wet site; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range. There's whitewater on Sandy River for all you thrill seekers; if you're here you can take a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail. Going camping here in Oregon is something you have to do. You've gotta get out; Kingfisher, Oregon is a nice place for getting out. All through the warmest time of the year at Kingfisher temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Hiking along the Eagle Creek Cutoff is brilliant fun, and Bowman Creek is near Kingfisher and is always a delight to take a look at. Going for a hike along the Old Baldy Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and George W. Joseph State Park is worth taking a look at. All the fine local attractions nearby and such a large number of things to do are certain to keep you coming back many times. As if Kingfisher wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so it's completely out of the question to get bored.
