Eagles Hot Lake RV Park, Oregon
|
| | Jim & Margie Hollandsworth are the owners of this RV park now. They have changed the name to Eagles Hot Lake RV Park. They have a web sight at www.eagleshotlakerv.com with pictures. Our e-mail address is info@eagleshotlakerv.com. We have been working hard for the last 4 years improving the park. We built a new multi-purpose room (called Eagles Nest) which is permitted for 88 people. It has a sink and refrigerator and lots of electrical outlets. We provide 20 5 ft tables and about 88 chairs. Jim has also built a small stage outside which could be |
|
used for weddings, musical groups or in anyway people would like. The park is a very relaxing park to come to. We have a water canal that flows through the park with fish and turtles present most of the time. Wildlife can be spotted at times and there is a bird marsh across
| the road with trails to parts of it.
Catherine Creek State Park is a fine site to stretch your legs a bit; there's some flowing water nearby, Gekeler Slough is a stream you can take a look at while here. Eagles Hot Lake RV Park is a location that is rather dry typically; through January this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. All through the summertime months at Eagles Hot Lake RV Park highs are usually in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while | |
|
the cold winter nights at Eagles Hot Lake RV Park are in the 20's. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Eagles Hot Lake RV Park. Hiking along the Summit Mount Emily Trail is delightful fun; if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by La Grande. Places
like Hilgard Junction State Park are good to pop by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Evans Trail. This campground is a charming spot to have a look at. The Hale Spring Trail offers hiking at its best. Take a hike on the Beatty Creek Trail, and Grande Ronde River is
a delightful whitewater spot nearby. Going for a hike along the Five Points Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Anthony Lakes. This is such a fun spot for a campground. If you don't mind getting
