| | Hoodview is incredibly well loved by the folks of Sandy. If you come to this campground, you will have a fine time for sure. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Bull Run, and a quick journey to Bowman Creek is certainly a perfect idea. Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, you have to get out; Hoodview in Oregon is the outdoors at its most excellent. A number of folks choose Hoodview in order to be in close proximity to George W. Joseph State Park. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. If the weather is great |
here at Hoodview, you can go for a hike along the Old Baldy Trail; if you're here you can take a hike along the Fanton Plaza Trail. This section of Oregon has a great deal of outdoors activities offered. Hoodview is not far at all from Sandy; you can have a wonderful hiking
| adventure along the Eagle Creek Cutoff. This campground has so unbelievably much. There is a nice hiking trail close to Hoodview called the Cold Spring Trail. The caring workforce and all the enjoyable things beat anything. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Hoodview get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's while Hoodview night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Sandy River is so much fun, and the Dry Ridge Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are delightful incentives to come. There's more to do next to Hoodview other than just hanging out such
as fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so probably you want to stick around. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Hoodview. Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam is a site that is close to Hoodview, and a visit to George W. Joseph State Park revives
the spirit. At Hoodview amusing stuff to do is bountiful; loads of people enjoy coming here to get away. A large amount of rain falls at Hoodview; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. So many amusing things to do in the Central
Cascade Range, not enough time. Nearby lakes? Sure, Firwood Veneer Corporation Reservoir is near Hoodview, and Crown Point State Park is a delightful spot to go.
