A tremendous site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Honeyman State Park is Millicoma River - West Fork. This is a pleasant campground. While you're here at Honeyman State Park you can play     some golf at Sandpines Golf Links, and Honeyman State Park is near Umpqua Lighthouse State Park which is a lovely location. Ocean Dunes Golf Links is a wonderful golf course nearby, and why not take a look at Summerbell Arm Woahink Lake also since you're here. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Coast Ranges rules! Washburne State Park is both great and lovely, and it's close to Honeyman State Park, and if you get bored of Honeyman State Park you could also visit close by Lilly Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Coast Ranges has to offer. You can run the rapids of Siuslaw River right next door to Honeyman State Park, and why not a little side visit to Buck Creek. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Honeyman State Park reach the 70's. During the moonlight hours   it's regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows at Honeyman State Park during the wintertime typically fall into the 30's.
