  Honeybear campground is situated 8 miles north of Gold Beach on Highway 101, turn right at mile post 321 if you are coming from the south , or turn left at MP 318 if you're coming from the north.   We have full hook ups including cable and WIFI, we also offer tenting and hot showers. There is a deli with imported items and sausages made on the premises. One of the best things about Honey Bear Campground is its
    proximity to Arizona Beach; hiking is a popular thing to do around Honey Bear Campground; Grassy Knob Trail is a nice local trail. If you're visiting Honey Bear Campground from Brookings, you won't be the only one. This campground is so pleasant. A day at Ophir Beach in the vicinity
of Honey Bear Campground is time well spent, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hazel Camp Trail. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. Cedar Point is around here and always great to pop by; a tour to Humbug Mountain State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in the vicinity of Honey Bear Campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Elk River; you unquestionably ought to have a
 
look at Cape Sebastian State Park since you're here. A campground like this is too pleasant to miss. Near Honey Bear Campground you stumble on a golf course called Cedar Bend Golf Course; swing by Euchre Creek it's a tremendous spot to stop by. There's whitewater on Coquille River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people, and the Mountain Wells Trail offers hiking at its best.
And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges. Euchre Creek Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Honey Bear Campground is right by the Lower River Trail. Summertime highs at Honey Bear Campground frequently tend to be in the 60's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Honey Bear Campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Honey Bear Campground a wet location; through December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
