very popular old favorite campground among the folks of Gold Beach. The high level of rain makes Honey Bear Campground a pretty wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This campground
is so pretty. Don't leave Honey Bear Campground without first going for a hike along the Mountain Wells Trail; Humbug Mountain State Park is a perfect site to explore on a pretty day. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Honey Bear Campground highs are frequently in the 60's,
and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Honey Bear Campground through the winter typically drop into the 30's.
