a hike along the Mountain Wells Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. So many enjoyable things in the Coast Ranges, just mind-blowing. Cape Sebastian State Park is worth taking a look at if you're at Honey Bear Campground, and you should stop by Cedar Point
| when you're here. The high level of rainfall makes Honey Bear Campground a pretty wet location; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most; July is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of Honey Bear Campground. You're sure to stumble upon some friendly folks from Brookings here, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Grassy Knob Trail. and time spent at Ophir Beach is always nice. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Coast Ranges. A golf course near Honey Bear Campground is Cedar Bend Golf Course, and a beautiful lake like Euchre Creek Pond is a good place to go to. This is in fact a wonderful
campground. Paddling on Coquille River - South Fork is so much fun, and it's a pleasant idea to stop at Euchre Creek. Summertime highs at Honey Bear Campground generally tend to be in the 60's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs
during the wintertime are in the 50's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Honey Bear Campground temperatures sink to the 30's. While you're here at Honey Bear Campground you can take a hike along the Hazel Camp Trail; a day at beautiful Arizona Beach near Honey Bear Campground is a nice thing to do. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Elk River.
