River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; you'll hit upon a scenic lake called South Coast Log Pond.
Harris Beach State Park is incredibly popular with the folks in Brookings. Take a hike on the Packsaddle Trail, and a trip to Azalea State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
