The high level of rainfall makes Gone Creek a pretty wet site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This campground is so gorgeous. Coming to this campground is always a wonderful idea. An exciting thing to take a look at near Gone Creek is Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam; there's tremendous hiking along the Cold Spring Trail. Such a glorious choice of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back time and again. And that's not everything you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. A tour to Crown Point State Park revives the soul, and don't leave Gone Creek without first going for a hike along the Old Baldy Trail. Summertime highs at Gone Creek typically tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Gone Creek. Camping in Oregon is such an enjoyable thing to do.
