| | This is such a fun location for a campground. Paddling on Grande Ronde River is so much fun. Goebel's is often visited by people of Wallowa. At Goebel's you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Goebel's. Grande Ronde River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can go for a hike on the Crooked Trail. Pack your tent and sleeping bag and hit the road; |

Oregon is a brilliant outdoors state. Some activities here at Goebel's are fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

| stuff to do in the vicinity of Goebel's; it is a brilliant escape from the routine. For the period of the summertime highs here at Goebel's reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Goebel's temperatures dip to the 20's. The Rock Spring Trail offers hiking at its best, and since you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Maxwell Pond.

Park is a perfect thing to do. The brilliant folks who control this spot and the loveliness of the spot have people coming here. There's tremendous hiking along the Washboard Trail; Goebel's is a spot with many visitors from Wallowa.
This campground is always a joy. Don't leave
Goebel's without first going for a hike along the Cougar Ridge Trail, and a fine spot like Minam State Recreation Area is too tremendous to leave out. Getting to Whisky Creek from Goebel's is uncomplicated, and you acquire a great panorama of Tick Hill from here. The tremendous
selection of local attractions, and such a tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came.
