Frog Lake is a cute little lake that lives up to its name. When we visited in early September, the shoreline was covered with little black frogs. The east side of Mount Hood overlooks the campsites. Says E. Hungerman
It's not possible to get bored in Oregon if you go for the outdoors. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Fanton Plaza Trail is always a fine adventure, and don't leave Frog Lake without first going for a hike along |

the Dry Ridge Trail. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near Frog Lake will keep you coming back again and again. A delightful spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Frog Lake is Sandy River, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Sandy here. A number of people
| choose this campground so they can go to George W. Joseph State Park. Summertime at Frog Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Frog Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. This is a great campground. near Frog Lake called the Eagle Creek Cutoff, and when you're here it's always fun to check out Crown Point State Park. The perfect local attractions and the perfect variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back over and over. The Central Cascade Range scenery
is always wonderful. Camping out sure is a pleasant thing to do, and Frog Lake in Oregon is a really great spot to spend some time. A campground like this is too great to miss. Go for a hike on the Old Baldy Trail; why not a little side visit to Bowman Creek. You can run the
rapids of Bull Run in the vicinity of Frog Lake; George W. Joseph State Park is both great and scenic. So many cool things close to Frog Lake, and what a great spot for camping it is. Frog Lake is a popular spot with the people of Sandy. The staff of this great campground and
all the enjoyable stuff to do are in themselves reason enough to come here. Frog Lake is a reasonably wet place commonly with a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount
of precipitation. There's such a large number of things to do at Frog Lake including fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so possibly you want to stay for a while. Why not take a look at Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam since you're here. Lakes are delightful; Roslyn Lake is a lake that's near Frog Lake.
