Hood River - West Fork has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and brilliant hiking is available along the Elk Meadows Trail. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. There are pleasant places to look at along the Lamberson Butte Spur Trail; the slopes of Cooper Spur are so inviting nobody can resist. And that's not all the things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dufur Valley Farms; Dog River Trail is a great local trail; when you're here it's always fun to check out Viento State Park.
