This is a magnificent campground. Hood River - Lake Branch has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Lamberson Butte Spur Trail. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's impossible to get bored. There is so much enjoyable stuff close to Dufur Valley Farms; if you're seeking a splendid site to go camping for a couple of days, this is a nice selection. Dufur Valley Farms sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. All year is a good time in the Central Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. Hood River - East Fork is a good whitewater spot near Dufur Valley Farms; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Elk Meadows Trail. For the period of the warm days of summer at Dufur Valley Farms temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Dufur Valley Farms dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. A campground like this is too magnificent to miss. Don't leave Dufur Valley Farms without visiting Wygant State Park, and the Dog River Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
