Clear Lake - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   A lot of people camp here when going to George W. Joseph State Park. Famous Oregon kindness and the incredibly well controlled facilities are in themselves motive enough to come here. There's so much stuff to do at Clear Lake including whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. If spending too much time indoors got you down, No cause for concern; Clear Lake in Oregon is such a nice place. Clear Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is     regularly December, that's the one that rains the most while July is ordinarily the driest month. Camping in Oregon is such an enjoyable thing to do. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Clear Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Clear Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some fine whitewater, and places like George W. Joseph State Park are great to have a look at. So many local attractions and such a wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. This camp ground is one of the brilliant sites to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. So many cool things in the Central Cascade Range, just impressive. Take a side tour to Bowman Creek, and get   yourself into a kayak and hit Bull Run. This campground is a beautiful site to explore. There is a glorious hiking trail right next door to Clear Lake called the Dry Ridge Trail, and Crown Point State Park is a magnificent place to explore. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Cold Spring Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Old Baldy Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. There's always Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam to explore next to Clear Lake, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Fanton Plaza Trail. Lots of people from Sandy come to Clear Lake; there are other places here than Clear Lake, for example Roslyn Lake. There's such a great deal of things to do near Clear Lake, and campgrounds like these are nice. Clear Lake is a very popular campground with the people from Sandy. At this campground you will always have a wonderful time. While you're here at Clear Lake you can take a hike along the Eagle Creek Cutoff.
