meet lots of folks from close by Sandy, and you can go for a hike on the Fanton Plaza Trail. Loads of people choose Clackamas Lake when going to George W. Joseph State Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes Clackamas Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain

during the dark hours in the wintertime at Clackamas Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Clackamas Lake. Why not go to close by Bowman Creek while you're here at Clackamas Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood
you can always explore close by Roslyn Lake. Clackamas Lake is one of the places to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. This is a great campground. Bull Run has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are delightful spots to explore along the Eagle Creek Cutoff.
As if Clackamas Lake wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This sector of Oregon is always a delight to check out through camping season. This campground is so great. Don't
leave Clackamas Lake without first going for a hike along the Old Baldy Trail. Crown Point State Park is a glorious location, and Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam has brilliant water scenery.
