  Take a side tour to Bowman Creek, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bull Run. Hey, time to go camping, so what do you say? Clackamas Lake, Oregon is a brilliant place for getting out. All the water falling down from the sky makes Clackamas Lake a wet site; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
At Clackamas Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while
    the cold winter nights at Clackamas Lake are in the 30's. This campground is so delightful. The Old Baldy Trail is a good hiking trail close to Clackamas Lake, and Crown Point State Park is a fine location to stretch your legs a bit. Several people stay at this campground when
going to George W. Joseph State Park.
That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Clackamas Lake has it all. There is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Clackamas Lake called the Dry Ridge Trail, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam. Among the things you can do near Clackamas Lake are swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
There's such a vast number of things to do next to Clackamas Lake; spending
 
time at this campground is fantastically fun. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. If the weather is nice here at Clackamas Lake, you can go for a hike along the Eagle Creek Cutoff, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Sandy. So many entertaining things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Firwood Veneer Corporation Reservoir is a good lake close to Clackamas Lake; when you're here it's always fun to check out George W. Joseph State Park.
Clackamas Lake is a very popular campground among people of Sandy. This is really a pleasant campground. Near Clackamas Lake you find the Cold Spring Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail.
This camp ground is one of the great spots to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. The workforce who's always there to be of assistance and all the perfect passtime activities are rather fantastic.
On a great day at Clackamas Lake you can take a hike along the Fanton Plaza Trail, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Sandy River. The tremendous variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are brilliant reasons to come.
