There's more to do near Chalet Village other than just hanging out such as swimming, fishing, playing golf, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Chalet Village is one of the sites to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. With so many things to do in Oregon you'll never get bored. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Paddling on Willamette River is so much fun, and Springfield Country Club is a nice golf course nearby. highs at Chalet Village commonly tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Chalet Village overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's. At Chalet Village
you always meet someone from Pleasant Hill, and as expected, everyone loves Elijah Bristow State Park. So many cool things in the Central Cascade Range, just mind-blowing. Soar down the rapids of Fall Creek in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Chalet Village;
Teeter Creek Loop is a nice local trail. Some nearby water includes Cedar Creek; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Derr Pond. Chalet Village usually gets lots of precipitation; through December this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July.
