Camp Creek - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   It's just not possible to get bored in Oregon if you love the outdoors. Camp Creek sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here; the driest month is July. There's more to do close to Camp Creek other than just hanging out such as swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Scores of people opt for Camp Creek in order to be close to George W. Joseph   State Park. There's whitewater on Sandy River for all you thrill seekers, and since you're here, you could also go to striking Roslyn Lake. The warmest time of the year at Camp Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Camp Creek during the winter frequently drop into the 30's. Camp Creek is one of the places to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. Camp Creek is a very popular old favorite campground among the people of Sandy. There are so many amusing things to do right next door to Camp Creek, and it is a fun site for everybody. This is such a pretty campground. Don't leave Camp Creek without first going for a hike along the Cold Spring Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a great time. On a good day at Camp Creek you can take a hike along the Eagle Creek Cutoff, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Sandy. This is such a great campground. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Bull Run, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Fanton Plaza Trail.
