A good vista of beautiful Pilot Butte is available from Blue Bay, and playing golf is lots of fun at River's Edge Golf Course. Blue Bay is not the only spot close by, Mirror Pond is a close by lake, and you can take a little spree to North Unit Diversion Dam while you're here at Blue Bay.

activity, and this is a good spot to do that. Through the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Blue Bay. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's; overnight lows at Blue Bay during the winter generally dip into the 10's.
Golf can be played at Orion Golf Course, and you positively ought to stop at Tumalo State Park while you're here.
