Armstrong - Mount Hood National Forest, Central Cascade Range, Oregon

  If the weather is glorious here at Armstrong, you can go for a hike along the Old Baldy Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River. This camp ground is to be found in the beautiful Central Cascade Range. With so much stuff to do in Oregon you'll never get bored.
Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. George W. Joseph State Park is a good spot to go to, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Roslyn Lake is just a very short distance
    away. If you've got cabin fever from too much time inside, Don't be troubled; Armstrong in Oregon is a magnificent location to go.
This campground is so beautiful. On a nice day at Armstrong you can take a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail; a visit to Crown Point State Park invigorates
the spirit. Armstrong is frequently visited by the folks in Sandy. This is truly a magnificent campground. Visit Bowman Creek if you're here at Armstrong.
High temperatures at Armstrong through the summer months are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Armstrong. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are brilliant causes to come. While you're here at Armstrong you can take a hike along the Fanton Plaza
 
Trail, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Sandy here.
The caring personnel and the prettiness of the location are relatively remarkable.
So much enjoyable stuff to do at Armstrong, so little time. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Armstrong called the Cold Spring Trail, and Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam is lovely. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Eagle Creek Cutoff, and Bull Run is a good whitewater spot nearby. Lots of folks choose this campground to stop at close by George W. Joseph State Park.
A great deal of rainfall falls at Armstrong; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. Some of the things you can do here at Armstrong are whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
