This is such a good campground. There are some fine whitewater spots on Smith River - Middle Fork, and don't leave Alfred A. Loeb without first going for a hike along the Packsaddle Trail. Alfred A. Loeb sees pretty high levels of precipitation; December is when you get the most
| rain here, and July is when it's the driest. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Coast Ranges. Go for a hike on the Snow Camp Trail; dropping by Alfred A. Loeb State Park is a tremendous thing to do. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Coast Ranges. There's pleasant hiking along the Chetco Peak Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Brookings here at Alfred A. Loeb. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. | |

There's such a large number of things to do near Alfred A. Loeb, and a lot of people enjoy coming here to get away. Alfred A. Loeb is a very well liked campground by people of Brookings. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Alfred A. Loeb; the nighttime is fairly colder of course,
regularly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; night lows in the 40's for Alfred A. Loeb. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Smith River - South Fork, and going for a hike on the Eagle Creek Trail
is always a fine adventure. While popping by this region in Oregon it's a pleasant idea to go for a weekend of camping too. This is such a pretty campground. There are brilliant places to explore along the Hazel Camp Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Smith River - North
Fork offers some great whitewater. The caring ambiance and the enormously admirably run facilities attract people from far and near. A number of people stay at Alfred A. Loeb for the purpose of being right next door to Alfred A. Loeb State Park.
