Agency Lake Resort, Southern Cascade Range, Oregon   Agency Lake Resort is located in southern Oregon. The lakeside resort is 30 miles south of Crater Lake National Park and 27 miles north of Klamath Falls. Leaving the high desert on hiway 97 and going west will take you to an oasis of green grass and weeping willow trees looking across Agency Lake to the Cascade Mountain range. You will be welcomed to the quiet of the countryside and enjoy all kinds of animal life both on the lake and in the park. This is a family resort and children and the family pet are welcome to come and play. The resort has     cabins, RV sites and tent sites on 750 feet of lake frontage and is open much of the year. World class fishing can be found on Agency Lake and nearby Wood River and Williamson River. Wood River is a magnificent local stream, and you certainly ought to stop at Jackson F. Kimball State Park while you're here. For the duration of the long summer days at Agency Lake Resort temperatures are typically in the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Agency Lake Resort. Agency Lake Resort gets a large amount of water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while July is generally the driest month. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more cool stuff to do in the Southern Cascade   Range. Here at Agency Lake Resort there are plenty of folks from Chiloquin, and the Pelican Butte Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. While you're here at Agency Lake Resort you can take a hike along the Moss Creek Trail, and visiting Crater Lake National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. On a pleasant day at Agency Lake Resort you can take a hike along the South Pass Lake Trail; Wood River Valley is a good spot to have a look at. Near Agency Lake Resort you find the Greylock Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Klamath River. This campground is so striking. Having a delightful time at Agency Lake Resort is trouble-free. Going for a hike along the Rocky Point Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; a visit to Collier Memorial State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
