The helpful operators of the campground and the good facilities makes the spree here worthwhile. Methodist Camp is enormously popular with the folks from Hinton. Oklahoma is a pleasant   spot for outdoors people. Get your thrills behind the wheel of a go-kart at close by Oakridge Camp & Retreat Center. Methodist Camp is near Red Rock Canyon State Park which is a gorgeous place, and there are plenty of folks from Hinton here. This is a good campground. For all you bowlers, H Bowling Chance is a tremendous bowling alley in close proximity to Methodist Camp. You don’t have to go far from Methodist Camp to catch a glimpse of the water at Fay Abbott       Dam. Fort Cobb Lake State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit, and since you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Sugar Creek Canyon Golf Club. During the summertime months highs here at Methodist Camp reach   the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Methodist Camp throughout the winter usually plunge into the 20's. Methodist Camp is a good place of typical rainfall.
