and whitewater paddling, so in all probability you want to stay a bit. This campground is so glorious. There's tremendous hiking along the Deer Loop Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Woodland Lake Campground; George Trail is a splendid local trail. Scores of
people select this campground in order to be right next door to Rocky Fork State Park. All through the warm months at Woodland Lake Campground temperatures are usually in the 80's; the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Woodland Lake Campground nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
