| | While the new gentleman running Tanglewood Acres are keeping the horse camp open, the camp does not seem to be pulling in as many horseback riders as they had hoped. Could this be due to the economy? Gas prices have gone down, and with the rains of this summer, they are hoping the trails will be dry the months of August/ September/October for some beautiful riding. The local OHC county has maintained the trails for some time. Let's not waste these trail in our Ohio Parks. Says lm

a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes, Pike Lake is a lake in close proximity. This campground is always a bliss. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Rattlesnake Creek, and obviously, A tour to Allen Hollow is always fun. There is so much enjoyable stuff in
| close proximity to Tanglewood Acres; it is a perfect escape from everyday life.
Tanglewood Acres is a very well loved campground by people of Bainbridge. Going for a hike on the Wildwood Trail is always a great adventure, and at Tanglewood Acres you can distinguish Potts Hill. At Tanglewood Acres through the summertime highs are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Tanglewood Acres dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.

This is such a fun site for a campground. An afternoon playing golf at Valley Vista Golf Course
is always a diversion, and a journey to Pike Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. A number of people pick Tanglewood Acres in order to be next to Pike Lake State Park. If you come at the right time of year, Rocky Fork Creek offers some perfect whitewater; you unquestionably
must stop at Paint Creek State Park while you're here.
There's such a vast number of things to do at Tanglewood Acres including hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. The snow is delightful at Spicy Run Mountain, and on a great
day you can take a hike along the Fort Trail.
Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Tanglewood Acres. Glide down the rapids of Paint Creek in a kayak, and Tanglewood Acres is a spot with many visitors from Bainbridge. Not enough hours
in a day to enjoy this place. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Tanglewood Acres called the Bench Trail; you can take a little journey to Pike Lake Dam since you're here at Tanglewood Acres.
Such a tremendous selection of attractions and such a vast number of things
to do are certain to keep you coming back persistently. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Tanglewood Acres; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is generally the driest month.
Finally, camping season is here once more; Tanglewood Acres in Ohio is a perfect selection.
