There are some fine whitewater spots on Hocking River; going for a hike on the Cedar Grove Trail is always a wonderful adventure.

A visit to Summit Lodge Resort wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Hocking Hills State Park, and Peterson Hollow is a brilliant
| spot to spend some time. The staff of this tremendous campground and the great quality of everything here have loads of people coming here.
This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Near Summit Lodge Resort you hit upon the West Rim Trail which is a great hiking trail; unsurprisingly, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Blackjack Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
