Shawnee Lake Park, Ohio Custom Search   This is a great campground the people who own it are the kindest friendliest people you can meet. The camp sites are nice size and it is a quiet place to go and relax. They always have lots of activities planned for both kids and adults. We are doing our seasonal there next year. Famous Ohio kindness and the good abundance of fun activities have people coming here. Lakes are magnificent; Spencer Lake is a lake that's close to Shawnee     Lake Park; Spencer Lake Dam is lovely. From a precipitation point of view Shawnee Lake Park is a reasonably common place; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Some close by water includes Coon Creek; Rocky River - North Branch has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. Findley State Park is a glorious spot to stretch your legs a bit; paddling on Rocky River - West Branch is so much fun. At last, the time to go camping is here once more, and Shawnee Lake Park in Ohio is such a great site. Shawnee Lake Park is situated in a vicinity with a lot of entertaining things to do, and campgrounds like these are great. Shawnee Lake Park is a popular spot with people in Spencer. This   campground is so fine. You'll meet a lot of people from Spencer here; golf can be played at Knollbrook Golf Course. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and playing golf, so running out of enjoyable stuff to do won’t happen. Ohio is a great site for campers. Such a tremendous selection of attractions and such a tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. At Shawnee Lake Park through the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Shawnee Lake Park temperatures fall to the 10's. Mohican State Forest is a beautiful spot any time of year; get soaked paddling on Vermilion River.
