You can run the rapids of Lee's Creek in close proximity to Shady Trails Campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Deer Loop Trail.

This is really a tremendous campground. Shady Trails Campground is in the vicinity of Paint Creek State Park which is a beautiful location; nearby you stumble on the Wildwood Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. A number of folks camp here in order
to be in the vicinity of Rocky Fork State Park.
What a site this is for outdoors people. Lots of people from Hillsboro come to Shady Trails Campground; you certainly have to stop at Rocky Fork State Park while you're here. Ohio is a good place for campers.
Such a great
selection of attractions and so much to do will make you happy you came. From a precipitation point of view Shady Trails Campground is a relatively common location; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. The good people who run this place and a great variety of exciting things attract folks from far and near.
