Shady Shores, Ohio   It's impossible to run out of amusing things to do in close proximity to Shady Shores; it's always fun being here. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the South Beach Trail, and picturesque scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Snow Trails. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the exciting stuff you can do is playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so there's no way to get bored. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. The Blackberry Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you come at the right time of year,     Sandusky River offers some tremendous whitewater. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Shady Shores. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Shady Shores overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Many people stay at Shady Shores so they can go to Crane Creek State Park. Take a hike on the Wetlands Trail, and a tour to Lake Erie Islands State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. This campground is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Port Clinton Golf Club. Going camping here in Ohio is something you must do. Why not take a refreshing hike along the West Harbor Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Portage River. Shady Shores is prized by people from Lacarne.   Anxious to pitch that tent; Shady Shores in Ohio is a nice site to go. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things close to Shady Shores. Looking for some flowing water? Try Green Bayou, and visiting Crane Creek State Park is a great thing to do. Golf can be played at Oak Harbor Golf Club, and there are plenty of people from Lacarne here. An average amount of rain falls at Shady Shores; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
