Glide down the rapids of Paine Creek in a kayak, and close by you come across the Mohawk Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. There's loads of outdoors recreation available nearby such as hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so possibly you want to stick around.
If you come at the right time of year, Big Creek offers some magnificent whitewater, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course |
like Little Thunder Kids Golf Course. Some people select this campground to have a look at nearby Geneva State Park.
Going for a hike on the Mushers Trail is always a great adventure; Punderson State Park is a good place to stretch your legs a bit. Coming to this campground

The Iroquois Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Richards Camp Grounds; the snow is tremendous at Alpine Valley. Ohio has such a vast number of things to offer nature lovers.
Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to
do close to Richards Camp Grounds. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Richards Camp Grounds. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures
at Richards Camp Grounds descend into the 10's.
There are plenty of people from Thompson here at Richards Camp Grounds, and Richards Camp Grounds is in the neighborhood of Geneva State Park which is a beautiful place. The friendly surroundings and all the amusing things have
loads of people coming here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Going for a hike along the Erie Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a round of golf at nearby Thunder Hill Golf Course is a delightful way to kill some time.
