Pleasant View Recreation, Ohio   To Whom It May Concern: Wood Lane Residential Services is a Not-For-Profit Corporation 501(c)(3). Our primary purpose is to provide services to adults with mental retardation and developmental disabilities in residential environments. As a 501(c)(3) corporation we also have tax exempt status. We are currently seeking donations to utilize for a silent auction that will raise money for the American Cancer Society?s annual Relay For Life. Summer at Pleasant View Recreation arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Pleasant View Recreation tend to be in the 10's. This is such a wonderful campground. Portage River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and sites like Van Buren State Park are good to explore.   Good hiking is available along the Lake Shore Trail, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Hillcrest Golf Club. The amount of rain that falls at Pleasant View Recreation is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Maumee River, and you don’t have to go far from Pleasant View Recreation to see the water at Van Buren Lake Dam.
