The Orton Memorial Trail offers hiking at its best, and hey, Hog Creek is a great local stream. From a rain point of view Meadow Lake Resort is a rather typical spot; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is January. This campground is so pretty. A tour to Buck Creek State Park when you're here at Meadow Lake Resort is never a bad idea, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Massie's Creek.
