Kokosing Valley Camp and Canoe, Ohio Custom Search   I have been staying @ Kokosing Campgounds in Millwood for about 16 yrs. now.Originally started with group of about 10-12 guys and canoed the river yearly from Mt.Vernon to Millwood.We have always had a great expeience and the grounds are very family oriented. The owner's son now runs the grounds and he maintains the same standards as his father. Truly one of the best camping and canoe(or kayak) experinces in Ohio. Go ahead and bring your old cat to Kokosing Valley Camp and Canoe because you are welcome to bring animals.   This campground has a playground for the little ones; don't forget your fishing pole as this place has some fine fishing. There are tent sites here at Kokosing Valley Camp and Canoe where you could set up that camp site. There are showers here at Kokosing Valley Camp and Canoe. Fires are permitted here at Kokosing Valley Camp and Canoe. At the nearby supermarket you could locate anything you require. If you like boating you are in luck, boating is glorious       at this campground, and Kokosing Valley Camp and Canoe has a laundry room where you may wash pants. You will come across a great swimming pool here, so you could take a dip; there are RV hookups for your RV here at Kokosing Valley   Camp and Canoe. Nearby there is a perfect 12-mile-in-distance category I-II whitewater segment, the Gambier to Walhonding River segment of Kokosing River. The Gambier to Walhonding River segment of Kokosing River is advised for beginner paddlers. Always check conditions before heading out paddling because paddling is a perilous pursuit.
