| | Iron Ridge is enormously popular with residents of Marietta. Hiking along the Cherry Tree Trail is good fun, and there's always Muskingum River Lock and Dam Number Two to stop at near Iron Ridge. Iron Ridge is a rather wet place usually with a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February.
