East Harbor State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit, and Lakeside Reef is in close proximity, and is a glorious site. A journey to North Swimming Beach near Camp Runinmuck is always a good idea; the West Harbor Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. This campground is so great. Going for a hike along the Wetlands Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; Holiday Cove is a delightful site, certainly worth going to.
