Back 40 Campgrounds, Ohio   This campground is mostly set up for long-term campers. They have the sites with trees. Most visitors stay in a central grassy area with no shade trees. The property is well cared for and neat. There is swimming in a farm pond but no pool. Nice place for somewhere quiet to hang out but kids will get bored pretty quickly I think. The lack of shade makes it pretty hot in the summer even with AC. The owners are nice people and friendly. Fires are permitted in fire rings which they provide. Tent camping was down the hill. There was some     shade there but when it rains the area floods. The amount of rainfall that falls at Back 40 Campgrounds is close to the national average; during June this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The tremendous choice of local attractions, and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. The personnel that controls this campground and all the cool stuff are in themselves motive enough to come here. Camping in Ohio is such an enjoyable thing to do. This campground is so pleasant. Enjoy a round of golf at Cherokee Hills Golf Course not far from Back 40 Campgrounds;   what would winter be without some skiing at Mad River. Back 40 Campgrounds is a very popular campground with folks in Rushsylvania. For the period of the months of summer here at Back 40 Campgrounds, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and night lows at Back 40 Campgrounds during the winter generally drop into the 10's. At last, the time to go camping is here again, and Back 40 Campgrounds in Ohio is such a wonderful place. There are other locations here than Back 40 Campgrounds, for example Rushcreek Lake, and Kiser Lake State Park is a wonderful location to stretch your legs a bit. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as fishing, playing golf, and swimming, so it's totally impossible to get bored. At Back 40 Campgrounds exciting stuff to do is bountiful, and it is one of a lot of wonderful campgrounds in this neighborhood. A lot of folks stay here in order to be next to Indian Lake State Park.
