We stayed at Evergreen RV Park in Mt. Eaton. It is a new park and absolutely beautiful. Everything is state of the art -- even an indoor pool with a cover that opens by a sensor. Every site is landscaped with a fence, bushes and flowers. The people are very friendly. It has the nicest restrooms (and largest) that I have ever seen. I certainly will go back again. through the month of July you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The warmest time of the year at Amish Country Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
| High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Amish Country Campground.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cuyahoga River, and Salt Fork State Park is a great place to pop by on a wonderful day. Going for a camping trip here in Ohio is something you must do. The staff that controls this campground and scores of cool stuff to do attract people from all over.
