get bored. Golf can be played at Iron Tree Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Pigeon River - West Fork. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Winngray Family Campground has it all. Near Winngray Family Campground you hit upon magnificent places
like Jaynes Cove, and Cataloochee Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. This is such a fun location for a campground. A quick spree to Gaddis Branch right next door to Winngray Family Campground is a great idea, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Asbury
Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Big Branch Trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at Waynesville Country Club Inn & Starter. Summertime highs at Winngray Family Campground usually tend to be in
the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, generally in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Winngray Family Campground temperatures dip to the 20's. So many local attractions and so much to do are splendid motives
to come. The panorama of Trit Knob from Winngray Family Campground is gorgeous; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pigeon River. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Great Smoky Mountains. While you're here at Winngray Family Campground you can take a hike along the Baxter Creek Trail.
