Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold days of the     wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Wilmington Koa descend into the 30's. The high level of precipitation makes Wilmington Koa a rather wet spot; July is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This campground is so glorious. Do schedule some time to visit Falcon Point close to Wilmington Koa if you have a chance, and you're sure to bump into some fine people from Wrightsville Beach here. The personnel of this tremendous campground and all the fun stuff to do have lots of people coming here. Near Wilmington Koa you discover a golf course called Inland Golf Course; sites like Carolina Beach State Park are nice to check out. North Carolina is a tremendous outdoors state. Lakes? Sure, Greenfield Lake is close by,   and Fort Fisher State Park is a great spot. Wilmington Koa doesn’t have that many fun things in the neighborhood but if you're seeking a tremendous location to go camping, this is a delightful choice.
