time of year, Toxaway River - Upper offers some good whitewater, and if you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Red Bird Golf Links.
All the pleasant local attractions in close proximity and such a pleasant variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you
came.
Some activities here at Westridge are hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and playing golf, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. All the water falling down from the sky makes Westridge a wet site; of all the months in a year March is the
one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Going camping here in North Carolina is something you have to do.
A round of golf at nearby Sapphire Lakes Country Club is a great way to kill some time, and the scenery at Intermont Dam is beautiful. And if
that's not enough there's a lot more enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Here at Westridge you can spot Roundtop, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Horsepasture River. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater
of Thompson River, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Scaly Mountain.
Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Take a hike on the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail, and Keowee-Toxaway
State Park is a wonderful spot to go.
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Westridge. A quick tour to James Creek next to Westridge is a nice idea, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Lake Toxaway Company Country Club.
