Third Peak Trail. The surroundings of this campground have such a large number of things to offer. Get covered with water paddling on New River - South Fork, and Rocky Knob is beautiful and can be spotted from here. Twin Rivers Campground is a top choice with campers from Piney
| Creek. This campground is so good. Everybody loves New River State Park; don't leave Twin Rivers Campground without first going for a hike along the First Peak Trail. While you're here at Twin Rivers Campground it's a brilliant idea to go to Jacks Bottom, and if you've had enough of Twin Rivers Campground, Fields Reservoir is close by. Very gorgeous scenery and good skiing is what you get at Appalachian Mountain, and float down the rapids of New River in a kayak.
