  We love Twin Rivers Campground. We've been vacationing there for many years and look forward to going back soon.
The owners are great down to earth people and the hosts are helpful and polite.

The people who take care of the campground and all the enjoyable stuff are motive enough to come here. There's so much to do at Twin Rivers Campground including hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. All the outdoors fun things in close proximity to Twin Rivers
    Campground will keep you coming back repeatedly. Mount Jefferson State Park is a brilliant location to visit, and do take a hike on the Bearpen Trail.
At this campground you will always have a wonderful time. Getting to Kings Creek from Twin Rivers Campground is painless; you
can have a great hiking adventure along the First Peak Trail. A lot of people stay at this campground to be in the vicinity of New River State Park.
For the period of the days of summer here at Twin Rivers Campground, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Twin Rivers Campground. Such a good choice of attractions and so much to do are certain to keep you coming back again and again. Twin Rivers Campground
 
sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month is November.
Whitewater paddling is great on Big Wilson Creek; Appalachian Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. Twin Rivers Campground is a top choice with people of Piney Creek. Jacks Bottom is a good spot to check out, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Third Peak Trail.
And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. New River - South Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot near Twin Rivers Campground, and there are plenty of folks from Piney Creek here at Twin Rivers Campground. As long as you go for the outdoors you will go for North Carolina.
This campground is a charming spot to explore. The Switchback Trail is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Twin Rivers Campground, and New River State Park is a beautiful site any time of year. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more cool things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on New River, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Scales Trail. There's such a great deal of things to do near Twin Rivers Campground; it's always fun being here.
