Twin Rivers Campground is a wet spot that gets a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July while November is frequently the driest month. Going to New River State Park in close proximity to Twin Rivers Campground is a pleasant thing to do, and there are
    some pleasant whitewater spots on New River.
This is such a picturesque campground. You'll come across a lovely lake called Fields Reservoir near Twin Rivers Campground, and hiking along the Switchback Trail is brilliant fun. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the amusing
stuff you can do is hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Twin Rivers Campground; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Twin Rivers Campground. Twin Rivers Campground is loved by folks from Piney Creek.

Take a hike on the Scales Trail; this is a popular spot for folks from Piney Creek.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit New River - South Fork, and there's whitewater on Big Wilson Creek for all you adrenaline junkies.
