| | We stayed here in October 06. Four families. Had a wonderful experience. Camp sites are shaded, quiet, large and level. Campsite is very clean and bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Close to Fontana and Bryson City. Make sure you have beer, etc, the closest liquor is Bryson City (20 minute drive) Says Tracey

The splendid folks who operate this place and all the great passtime activities have people coming from near and far. The glorious variety of local attractions and so much stuff to do are sure to keep you coming back again and again. to Turkey Creek Campground is The Narrows. Summertime highs at Turkey Creek Campground usually tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Turkey Creek Campground dipping down
into the 20's through winter nights. The high level of rainfall makes Turkey Creek Campground a quite wet spot; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Davis Creek
is close to Turkey Creek Campground and is always a pleasure to check out, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Turkey Creek Campground; Wesser Creek Trail is a great local trail. North Carolina is a splendid outdoors state.
