Toe River Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina
|
| | Toe river campground is awesome, my family and I have two favorite spots. We bring our camper down and leave it all summer. We come down every weekend. We love it and it is family friendly!!! Says Mckenzie Wallen
Toe River Campground is managed by some great folks this time around and looks better than we have ever seen it. It is a clean, family safe campground with a river running along the edge. You have to see this one to believe the way things have changed. If you have never been it is worth the trip! Says Kelly Wise

are in the 20's. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Toe River Campground called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and a spree to Cherokee National Forest when you're here is never
a bad idea. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. Paddling on Toe River - South is so much fun, and do stop by Deneen Dam since you're here. This campground is so splendid. Playing golf is lots of fun at Mt. Mitchell Golf Club; the skiing at Wolf Laurel is good.
Ayles Creek flows through this vicinity; a lake close by is Deneen Reservoir. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Toe River Campground. Do pay a visit to Blue Ridge Parkway while you're here at Toe River Campground. Going for a hike on the Ravens Lore
Trail is always a good adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, North Toe River offers some nice whitewater. You clearly have to have a thing about the Blue Ridge Mountains. Going to Mount Mitchell State Park in close proximity to Toe River Campground is a magnificent thing to do, and the Red Fork Falls Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.
