| | Camping out certainly is a fun thing to do, and Thousand Trails in North Carolina is exactly what you need. The welcoming personnel and all the fine passtime activities makes the spree here worthwhile. It's a brilliant idea to explore Dykers Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Thousand Trails, and a nice location for whitewater paddling is Yadkin River. There's more to do near Thousand Trails other than just hanging out such as fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen. Pilot Mountain |
State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit, and Forest Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Thousand Trails is a top pick campground with the folks of Linwood. There are so many cool things to do right next door to Thousand Trails, and it is a fun location
| for everybody. At Thousand Trails during the summer highs are in the 80's; the night is somewhat colder of course, typically in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Thousand Trails. Just can't get enough of Thousand Trails. will unquestionably have you coming back repeatedly. This is such a great campground. The fine folks of Linwood like to hang out close by; there's whitewater on Yadkin River for all you adrenaline junkies. Places like Hanging Rock State Park are perfect to pop by, and get your
heart beating on the great whitewater of South Yadkin River. Thousand Trails is a wet spot that gets lots of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and November is when it's the driest.
