hiking, playing golf, and fishing, so it's just not possible to get bored. This camp ground is one of the nice places to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Spruce Pine Campground is not far at all from Little Switzerland; a pleasant spot like Mount Mitchell State Park is
too wonderful to leave out. A lot of people stay at this campground in order to be right next door to Lake James State Park. This campground is a good place to stop at. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Toe River - South; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the
Bald Mountain Trail. Spruce Pine Campground is a campground esteemed by visitors from Little Switzerland. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is great! A visit to Spruce Pine Campground wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Lake James
State Park; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Toe River. Lakes? Sure, Shafords Lake is close by, and some close by water includes North Fork Grassy Creek.
