great hiking along the Stewart Trail. Rose Creek Campground sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is a great campground. Near Rose Creek Campground
| you stumble on the Rartram Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail; you don’t have to go far from Rose Creek Campground to distinguish the water at Pyle Dam. You might want to pay a visit to Wests Cove while you're here at Rose Creek Campground; good hiking is available along the Gage Trail. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Great Smoky Mountains, too brilliant to be true. Golf can be played at Franklin Golf Course. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! an afternoon playing golf at Mill Creek Country Club is always a delight. High temperatures at Rose Creek Campground throughout the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows
in the 20's overnight here at Rose Creek Campground. You clearly must love the Great Smoky Mountains. Roper Knob is lovely and can be observed from Rose Creek Campground, and glide down the rapids of Cartoogechaye River in a kayak. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do in the
Great Smoky Mountains. When you're here at Rose Creek Campground it's always fun to pop by Nantahala National Forest, and folks from Franklin love to come here. This campground is so great. Black Rock Mountain State Park is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit; you can go
for a hike on the Hurricane Creek Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Cullasaja River offers some glorious whitewater; going for a hike on the Rufus Morgan Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
